Poll: Which St. Louis-bound comedian is the funniest?

Robin Williams — is this the face of funny?

St. Louis is gearing up to LOL straight through the spring, with a big lineup of comedians on the way.

Cheech & Chong, Craig Ferguson, and Rickey Smiley have already passed through recently, and they were just the beginning.

Jerry Seinfeld is next up, on his way next week.

The list of who’s coming is varied, as is the degree of funny they’ll offer.

I have a favorite here, and one I find insufferable.

But what do you think?

Which of these comedians on the way to St. Louis is the funniest?

This was so easy for me - JERRY SEINFELD. He is by far the funniest out of the list. I’ve seen him do stand-up twice and I swear I never left my seat waiting on the next joke that came straight from real life. Mike Epss is funny but his stand up is a little hit and miss for me. Steve Harvey is funny looking with that bald head but his morning show makes me never want to see him do stand up again. G-Thang - well he’s from St. Louis and I’ve seen him do stand up. He is funny but I think I’ve heard all his jokes…coming from other comedians.

Jerry Seinfeld doesn’t deserve to shine Richard Pryor’s shoes.

Robin Williams is a genius and one of funniest comedians to ever walk the earth. He’s in a different league than anybody else on your list. He’s somebody you compare to comic greats like Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Stan Laurel, Richard Pryor, John Belushi, Lucille Ball, Eddie Murphy, Jonathan Winters . . . NOT “G-Thang!” C’mon!

Jerry Seinfeld sucks! He is probably about the WORST comedian ever. I will have to admit that all of these comedians suck on here. Craig Ferguson is the only one that is funny. He is WAY better than any of these other people!

A lil’ bit of G-Thang hatin’ here, LOL.
That’s OK. I decided to include his name because he’s coming to town just like the rest of the folks listed, and wanted to show a STL native a lil’ love, is all.
I’m not suggesting he’s in the same league as a Robin Williams, however.

Now I think that Joel McHale is really funny on The Soup, but it’ll be interesting to see what his standup is like. I forgot for a second who Lisa Lamanelli was…her brand of humor is absolutely crude, and I absolutely adore it! Mike Epps is pretty funny to me as well, but he’s let a couple of his jokes fall to the ground, which left me feeling uncomfortable.

Lisa Lampanelli is HILARIOUS! She is the most crass and vulgar thing out there and I find that just funny but only because NO ONE is off limits.

I wanted to vote for Craig Ferguson. I saw both Craig and Joel do standup in New York. Joel may be funny on his show, but that’s cause it’s all written out for him. He even made a joke of it when he started his act. He was lame! I was really disappointed. Craig really is the creative genius of them all. Totally underated. Dave Letterman gives him NOTHING to work with and Craig does the whole show by himself. Good writer too.
