Taylor Swift tops Billboard 200 for 7th week
Isn’t this Taylor Swift thing getting a little ridiculous?
For the umpteenth week, her seventh week actually, Swift’s “Fearless” CD tops the Billboard 200 after selling 63,000 copies.
A CD hasn’t been at the top for this many weeks since Usher’s “Confessions” spent nine weeks at the top in 2004.
The soundtrack to “Notorious” is the week’s sole new addition to the top ten in what was another slow sales week.
Here’s the top ten, according to Nielsen Soundscan.
1. Taylor Swift, “Fearless,” 63,000
2. Beyonce, “I Am…Sasha Fierce,” 49,000
3. Nickelback, “Dark Horse,” 46,000
4. Various artists, “Notorious” soundtrack, 43,000
5. Kanye West, “808s & Heartbreak,” 40,000
6. Various artists, “Twilight” soundtrack, 36,000
7. Britney Spears, “Circus,” 34,000
8. Jamie Foxx, “Intuition,” 31,400
9. Keyshia Cole, “A Different Me,” 31,300
10. David Cook, “David Cook,” 31,000

and I still like this one!
Pretty suprising after her horrendous appearance on SNL a few weeks back. This lil’ girl really cannot sing that well.
I’m thankful for Tivo…I quickly fast-forwarded through it!
