Ahhh the Grammy’s. What a joke. I wonder if Kayne West will throw another temper tantrum when he loses. If I ever run into Kanye West, I hope I’m in my car.

I can’t believe it took 7 or more people to write ‘American Boy’. Lyrical genius. Wake up.

I haven’t heard any of these. I’m the record companies target demographic, and I haven’t heard any of these. Please promote better music. It’s out there.

I look forward to the Grammys to validate my reason for not listening to any of this manufactured for the masses crap. Anything that recognizes The Eagles for anything cannot be taken seriously. I especially like how Daft Punk was nominated for a song that came out 2 years ago. As usual, the grammy nominating committee are on top of the latest in music. I guess I should shut up and just be happy someone at the grammys is finding out about Daft Punk.

Yikes!!! Ummmm what’s the next catagory, lol. Cause not really feeling any of those songs for real for such a big award. But “IF” I had to chose one I’d chose Chasing Pavements.

It’s easy to get into grammy-bashing mode. It seems like every year they pick a new person to worship. There’s been the year of Lauren Hill, the year of India Arie, the year of U2, the year of Amy Winehouse. Some of that is deserved…but I get the sense that this year everything will be different. For one thing, album of the year, you have Radiohead going up against Lil Wayne and Coldplay. And Radiohead is performing (which is rare and incredible). Also, artists like daft punk (already mentioned), MIA, and hot chip are getting grammy nods. I think the awards show is taking a giant leap forward into relevance this year.

The biggest joke, in my opinion, of the year was actually the American Music Awards.
