Euclid Records releases first single in new music series
Euclid Records is releasing the first recording in its Euclid Sessions Series.
The debut 7” 45 rpm single is “John Coltrane Stereo Blues Pts. 1 and 2″ by Steve Wynn and the Miracle 3, recorded live in Euclid Records last November.
The release will be limited to a mere 300 copies, and $1 for each one pressed will be donated to the New Orleans Musicians Relief Fund (NOMRF).
Steve Wynn first recorded “John Coltrane Stereo Blues” when he was in the Dream Syndicate for their 1984 album “Medicine Show.” This is the first time the song has been available on record or disc since the Dream Syndicate disbanded.
The record itself is available on colored vinyl, limited to those who subscribe to the series online. Each copy comes with a silk screen print, individually signed and numbered by artist Phil Huling.
The 45s will be sold exclusively through www.euclidrecords.com and www.nomrf.org for $7.99.

– The Hard Lessons, “Gateway City”/”Graveyard Shift,” with silk screen print signed and numbered by artist Craig Horkey. Release date March 17.
– Terry Adams Rock and Roll Quartet with the Whole Wheat Horns, “Thedi”/”Eat That Pumpkin,” silk screen cover art design by Jim Flora. Release date April 18, Record Store Day 2009.
– Coming this summer will be releases by Peter Holsapple and Chris Stamey, Troubadour Dali, and Future Clouds and Radar.
