What a great show!!!
is this sponsored by the Science Center? lots of dinosaurs in one place… : )
Too funny paleontologist!!
Mellencamp is no dinosaur. He’s still one of the best live performers in rock music, and there’s no veteran artist out there still putting out as high quality new music as he is, as that includes U2, Springsteen and Dylan himself. In addition, Mellencamp will be recording a new album during this tour that is set for release in early 2010, and he’s promised to play some of those yet-unrecorded songs during his 75 minute sets at these shows. Mellencamp is as vibrant as any artist in music today, young or old. And nobody has a better band and, yes, that includes Springsteen’s E Street Band.
Mock Mellencamp at your own risk — the risk of sounding like someone who doesn’t know what they’re talking about.
Oh Musiclover, get over yourself. It was funny.
I’m a huge Mellencamp fan, grew up in Indiana (my mom is from Seymour) and was listening to him before he was Johnny Cougar. But come on, the joke was funny.
Just scored my pre-sale tix. I can’t wait to see Dylan and Willie again at the GCS Ballpark. I had an awesome time at the last show there.
Paleontologist -
C’mon, Mellencamp is no dinosaur. He’s just a R.O.C.K in the U.S.A.
