Concert update: The Offspring headlining Pointfest at Verizon
The Offspring, headlining Pointfest
The Offspring, Chevelle, Blue October, Sick Puppies, Framing Hanley, the Parlor Mob, Ludo, Hurt, Anberlin, (Hed) pe, Taking Back Sunday, and the Used are among the acts who’ll perform at Pointfest.
The event is at 10 a.m. May 23 at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater.
Also performing are Cavo, Steel Panther, Street Dogs, and Greek Fire.
More national and local acts will be announced, totaling 29 bands in all.
Tickets are $29, on sale at 11 a.m. Saturday at www.livenation.com, 877-598-8703, and at select Blockbuster locations.
There is no service charge at the box office the first week of sales, and parking is included in ticket prices.
Kevin C. Johnson has covered the St. Louis' music and nightlife scene for the past decade. 
I sure hope they have another one in the fall with a better linep. I got tickets for my son and his friends, I was expecting some bigger bands, like Killswitch Engaged….
