Win tickets to No Doubt, coming to Verizon Wireless Amphitheater

Music blog the Blender turns one-year-old on Tuesday, and that’s great news for Blender readers.

Beginning Tuesday and continuing through Friday, Blender readers can win tickets to several big shows.

Those concerts include Fleetwood Mac at Scottrade Center, No Doubt, 311/Ziggy Marley at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, Robert Randolph and the Family Band and the Toadies at the Pageant, Mike Epps and OAR at the Fox Theatre, and Ginuwine at the Loft (with a meet-and-greet).

Gift certificates from Vintage Vinyl will also be given away.

All you have to do to win is answer music trivia questions regarding things that’ve been covered in the Blender.

The first contest goes up at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

– The blog has received nearly 1 million hits (”nearly” 1 million being 930,751 hits).

– 1,027 (and counting) items/concert announcements/stories have been posted on the Blender as of today. The 1,000 posting was a concert cancellation at Blueberry Hill on April 5.
