Joel/John rake in $2 million-plus at Scottrade

The combination of Billy Joel and Elton John brought in the big bucks at their May 14 Scottrade Center concert, according to numbers just published in Billboard magazine.
The sold-out concert, which drew 19,692 fans, grossed $2,450,119.
The numbers for the May 5 Fleetwood Mac concert at Scottrade Center weren’t as impressive. That concert grossed $736,300, and 12,016 fans.
Tickets for Joel and John were $54-$179.50; tickets for Fleetwood Mac were $47-$147.
