Kevin C. Johnson has covered the St. Louis' music and nightlife scene for the past decade.
Somebody put a bullet in Zhivegas and call it good. Tired of this band. Lead singer looks to about 70yrs old with all his past drug use. Been around for 15yrs now. Time to hang it up and do something else.
Where’s the St. Louis blues-type bands? Where’s the Chuck Berry-type of rock n rollers? 3 of the 4 bands cater mostly to 80’s music. These bands are good at what they do, but it would of been nice to see different types of bands….besides 80’s & 90’s crap. Music for the masses..
i hate to say it but i hate all of these bands. HAHAHA, sorry, i do! the problem with ’80s cover bands is that their music never changes, so every time you see, say, “that ’80s band” they are always playing the same songs, which is worse because they are all cover songs (unlike seeing your favorite band perform live on tour). dr. zhivegas… yeah that dude is a skeletor!!!
why not try to get ludo story of the year cavo brookroyal or the new translation
I’m not a fan of 80’s music. Weak decade for good music. Chics dig 80’s music..that’s about the only thing going for it. Talking Heads were one of the best things to come out of the 80’s!!
Yeah, most of the 80’s weren’t THAT good. I would like to have seen more blues/rock based groups added to this list. The Talking Heads actually started in the 70’s, so we are safe there :). There were some gems to hit their stride in the 80’s though, mainly U2 and The Smiths come to mind.
