STL native Keyon Harrold featured on Maxwell’s No. 1 CD
St. Louis trumpet player Keyon Harrold is celebrating right along with Maxwell today.
Maxwell’s “BLACKsummer’snight” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 today with 316,499 copies sold its first week out. It’s also No. 1 on the R&B chart. Harrold is featured prominently on the CD.
Check out Harrold playing behind Maxwell on “Late Night with David Letterman,” performing “Pretty Wings.”
He’s in the trio of horns, and he’s the one on the left. The best shots of Harrold are at the end of the song when Letterman greets the singer and the band.

Maxwell has the best horn section in the business! Thank you Keyon for being a part of the complete package!
Maxwell is the man. I’m glad he made a successful come back with “Pretty Wings.” His album is pretty nice too.
Good to see a hometown guy doing it big! Go Keyon!
