I have to disagree with you. False tales didn’t destroy Michael. Michael’s parents and Michael himself destroyed The Michael so many people have memories of. You don’t know for a FACT that he didn’t molest children just as others that believe he did don’t know for a FACT. Michael himself stated in his documentary that he liked sleeping with children(other peoples)in his bed. That is not at all normal!! that is something a pedophile would do. And the parents should be investigated for allowing their children to sleep in his bed if they were aware of it.I do believe he got some sort of sexual gratification from children when they slept in his bed. The man turned into a total nutjob, deforming his face,having his children(if you believe they are his biological children,I don’t) wear masks and face coverings all the time, hanging his infant over the railing (should have been charged with child endangerment),and so many other things. The great dancer and singer we called Michael Jackson died a long time ago. And once he made that comment in the documentary, I never again listened to his music, as I refuse to support anyone, regardless of how famous they may be, that I believe has had improprities with children. And no, I didn’t continue to support the Catholic church, I quit the Catholic church when all of those allegations came out.

The thing that is amazing to me is that all the african-Americans who say that “MJ was ours.” Whitey is hate’in. Jamie Fox really embarressed himself on the BET awards show and I had to turn it off b/c of the racial overtones were making me sick.

The truth about MJ is hard to get to because any reasonable can only come to the conclusion that he was a habitual liar. If you watch the Martin Bashir interviews you at first empathize with MJ b/c of the physical and mental abuse that he says that he suffered at the hands of his father. (the black community is now celebrating his father). However, after watching more and hearing him give strange and obviously untrue statements about his children, his surgeries and others children brought into his home…you have to wonder if you can believe anything he said. For the black community to hold him up as a hero for blacks is almost a joke. He turned his body white (ok…maybe he had vitialago), had his AA features cut away, adopted/bought 3 white children, married two white women and sorounded himself with whites (Miko Brando, Liz, Lou Franigno, ect.)

What is the black community trying to say? Sure celebrate his music becouse it was good stuff…but to put him out there as a hero to you race is a bad example to set for you children. Maybe he didn’t molest those kids…but he sure did use bad judgement have them sleep in his bed. I wouldn’t even have my nephews sleep in the same bed as me…that is just inappropriate.

MJ was a greatly talented singer, songwriter, dancer, and producer. He was probably the most influential pop musician of his generation. Whether or not he went off the deep end later in life does not change this fact. I don’t see anyone celebrating his private life which may or may not have involved misconduct, but rather his professional accomplishments as an artist. Can’t we leave it at that?

Joe & Ketherine had been separate (he was living in Vegas and she in LA) but now that she appears to have money coming her way Joe is back in the pics. As always I see the same already outdated and unfunny troll comments plaguing this article and the same old arguments being made.

Luckily though, history and the majority of the world are remembering MJ fondly. I’m sorry, but you aren’t going to find anyone who didn’t have a dark history or questionable past, it has been shown time and time again that the greatests and most talented artists have also lead tragic and stressful lives.

I wouldn’t deny MJ’s contribution to music and his influence on the world, even if he was proven guilty of his molestation charges. Because facts don’t change, but I do support him (and would not if the charges were true) because there is such a high amount of reasonable doubt regarding those cases.

After one of the children admitted he lied about the molestation, I have no choice but to see MJ as innocent. I’m sure he had weird views and thoughts regarding the world and children, particularly because of his overabundant trust in the innocence of purity of children. I’m sure much of this has to do with his father and growing up in front of the media, he’s learned to trust the honesty of children far too much.

I also agree, sleeping in a bed with children is VERY suspect. Not quite sexual, but strange nonetheless. The guy was out of touch with reality in a lot of ways.

I still strongly stand by that he was innocent and am sad for his death because he didn’t die easy or happy, but glad to see him being remembered by the world fondly (even though it is the same media that made his life so awful) and leaving a positive mark on history. I really wish he was alive just to see everyone listening to his music, watching his videos, and the world mourning him.

I am not being racist when I say that those are not his kids. Those are the facts. Considering that he twice was imlplicated in child molestation I think it is relevent that he purchased/adopted/soragated 3 white children into his home and then got rid of the mother. It’s funny, because you are intentionally naming a single accomplishment of MJ as the reason so many people are holding a tribute to him. He has done far more than simply make the first music video.

Try reading his Wikipedia page at least, he has forever changed the music industry, influenced almost every musical artist after him, crossed cultural and racial boundaries throughout the world, has donated millions to charity (more than any celebrity), and became the most successful artist ever.

Funny how you tell us “normal” music lovers to play his music in peace and isolation, because normal music lovers like Michael Jackson. You are the exception sir. We’ll continue to play his music in public and proudly, why don’t you shut yourself in?
