If he isn’t coming here I wouldn’t waste my time or money to go to him. We saw him last year at the Fox, maybe it was the year before, I forget..it was a forgettable performance. Barely even played for an hour

He still probably has his panties in a wad, about the reaction he got about the Budweiser comments he made 2 years ago. Sammy thinks he can hurt our feelings? Who cares?

Come on…No St. Louis tour. St. Louis is to Sammy Hagar as Sammy Hagar is to Tequila. They just go together.

Uh, Cath, I don’t know what you were doing but I saw him when he was here at the Fox for both shows and both lasted for over an hour. Who cares about the Budweiser thing and its just a side project. Get over it.

Uh, Leroy
Trust me, I am over it. Do I think he put on a great show? No. Do I think he offended many with the Budweiser Comments? Yeah..so what? You had a great time and for you? That is what counts…very cool for you.
For me? I wouldn’t bother to go see him again and I am not impressed with his new album, but that is simply my opinion. I wouldn’t make the trip to see him in KC, honestly? I wouldn’t even pay to see him again if it was right down the street from me.
Enjoy your trip to KC and enjoy the show dude.

Chickenfoot is no side project. These guys are taking this band seriously and already have plans for a 2nd album. It will be a real shame if they don’t hit St. Louis soon. The Budweiser thing is beating a dead horse, Sammy has been back to St. Louis a couple of times since then…the Pageant shows and the restaurant opening. He still LOVES St. Louis. I don’t understand why there is no date yet, it doesn’t make sense. Kevin, why don’t you do some actual reporting and find out why instead of writing the obvious. It doesn’t take a genuius to look at those tour dates and not see St. Louis. What would be informative would be quotes from industry insiders as to why.

I should start by saying I have been an average Sammy fan for a long time. I truly believe his best material was in the standing hampton/3 lock box era. That being said, Sammy is more of a businessman, and a very good one, since leaving VH. Anytime you have to pay royalties for one of your songs that supports a product with your name on it, is called a jingle. Yes, Mas Tequilla is a jingle. I know, great party song, but it just shows where he is these days, agree with him or not. Sammy is about the party and not the music. We all have opinions on CDs/music and that is why we live here in America so we can have choice. My opinion is that Sammy’s CD since leaving Van Halen have been borderline at best. His material before VH was pretty good and actually the I never said goodbye album is one of my favorites. But he has done nothing close to that since.
I know, Chickenfoot. I will believe the 2nd CD when I see it. See Planet US, HSAS, etc.
So now he is skipping, somehow St. Louis in this tour. KSHE Guaranteed (not sure how they could) Chickenfoot would be here. I don’t believe it has anything to do with the Miller/AB stuff.
If you need to see Sammy, I am sure there is an airplane deal heading to a city near for you.
