Ellen is a comedian. The contestants are putting their futures on the line and need someone who can give them objective criticism and nuturing advice. I will no longer be able to stomach the show. What the ___ were they thinking.

YES I THINK THAT WAS A GREAT CHOICE! SHE WILL KEEP IT REAL AND GIVE SIMON A RUN FOR HIS MONEY! I THINK HE CAN TAKE IT! I WAS THRILLED TO HEAR SHE WAS THE NEW CHOICE AND WILL BE MORE EXCITED TO WATCH THEN EVER! BRING IT ON!

I also saw her on so you think you can dance. I have to say she is very funny. My concern is she has no prof. music background. Yes she will add another elment but really? I have been a fan of IDOL and honestly will have to re-think what I will be watching to replace it. BIG MISTAKE

I think Ellen will be a breath of fresh air to the show. I also would like to see a new face replace Mr.”Dog”. That saying has gotten very old! It’s way past time to make some real changes with the judges! In fact I use to be a big fan of the show, but I don’t watch it all the time any more because of the judges! Actually Paula should have been replaced years ago!!!
