Kanye West apologizing on "The Jay Leno Show"

The debut of the laugh-free “The Jay Leno Show” last night was a snooze, but the real headline was Kanye West, performing with Jay-Z and Rihanna.

Before the performance of Jay-Z’s “Run This Town,” an ashamed and near tearful West sat with Leno to apologize more properly about disrespecting Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards. Click here to see the apology.

West appeared sincere, though I thought he was going to take Leno’s head off when Leno asked how he thought West’s late mother would feel about his antics.

West promised us some time off.

What did you think of Kanye West’s apology on “The Jay Leno Show”?

West is a thug. He apologized only because he wants to remain a millionaire and peddle his music. It wreaked of insincerity and pure publicity stunt. Most people in the country are sick of his $%#@. But, the thugs will embrace him even more. I guarantee he’ll write a rap song about this and glorify his behavior. What to go, West. Grandma ought to really be proud. You’re 15 minutes are up. Bye, bye.

The only way this pathetic jerk can get it attention is by being a pathetic jerk! Can’t we all just agree to ignore him?

I thought he was sincere, but how many times does he get to act like an ass and then just apologize and everything is ok?

I enjoyed the show until I realized that Kanye was going to be on it and I even tolerated the interview but when he was allowed to perform I turned off the TV. I doubt that I will ever watch the Leno show again. The sad thing is that I really looked forward to watching Jay again but if he and his producers see fit to condone such a flagrant act of disregard for a person who did absolutely nothing I have no desire to ever watch again. The thing is that he is a racist that is allowed to spout his views simply because he is black and a self proclaimed celebrity.

i think that kanye west and serena williams have bright futures in Congress-where ass-holish behavior is not only tolerated, it’s encouraged…I’m looking at you, Joe “Liar” Wilson.

The best part of the show was watching that d-bag Kanye squirm.

It’s very sad to be so full of yourself you forget others have worked hard too. It was a true racist moment driven completely by a black man from his outrage of a white girl beating out all others due to talent. He dissed her and took over like it was his show. Now in his appology he wants to help Taylor how ever he can….hey arrogance master she dont need any help from you at all….
This is the third time this idiot has done something like this…
With Mike Meyers after Katrina he made a fool of himself because he is so unattached to the crowd that actually makes him rich.
On another award show he said he was better and should have won…
This guy is an Ass Clown and should not be given another minute of airtime.

These rap “artist” like West is the fuel to the fire that get people like these young thugs on that school bus in Belleville the gusto and courage to
committ the mayhem they are doing.
