Concert announcement: Anvil, Cavo, Mama’s Pride at the Pageant
Trailer for “Anvil! The Story of Anvil.”
Anvil, Cavo, and Mama’s Pride are new concerts coming to the Pageant.
– Cavo, Brookroyal, Autovein, Shram, 8 p.m. Nov. 27, $15.
– The Anvil Experience, 8 p.m. Jan. 28, 2010. $20-$23, with a buy three tickets get one free the first week of sales only. The documentrary “Anvil! The Story of Anvil” will be shown before the performance.
– Mama’s Pride’s A Merry Christmas Concert, 8 p.m. Dec. 5. $25-$30.
Tickets on sale at 5 p.m. Friday at Ticketmaster outlets, www.ticketmaster.com, 800-745-8000, and at the box office.

A Mama’s Pride Christmas Concert sounds good to me. This is a rare event, and more than worth the price of a ticket.
Rare Event? It’s happened every year for the past 8 years. But good to see them back again.
I concur…not so rare. But we’re always glad to see it happening for sure!
I’ll be there for the Anvil show for sure! I remember them from high school (yes I’m that old), my husband and I watched the documentary Saturday night on VH1 Classics, we both said we’d go see them if they come, it should be a blast. The movie was great, awesome story of the friendship between the singer/guitar player and drummer that has lasted decades, inspiring.
