Can’t the POINT ever bring anything interesting, fresh or new to St Louis? This line-up proves that the POINT has no imagination and the worse programming in the country. It’s a lazy, uninspired bill. YAWN….

Yeah, the Point has no imagination & horrible programming??? Really, man? Really?? Every modern rock radio station pretty much plays the same stuff, save for maybe some of the far coastal rock stations, whom might play some quirkier artists that don’t get much national attention. But for the most part, modern rock radio station is what it is. If you like it, you listen, if you don’t, you don’t. I beg to differ, though. Sure they play all the modern rock mainstays, but they do play lot of Indie stuff on there, too, i.e. Cage the Elephant, Manchester Orchestra, Silversun Pickups, Shiny Toy Guns, etc.. This is their big Christmas show, & all 3 of these bands have new CD’s out. They’re gonna bring in the artists peeps will pay to see, & all 3 of these guys are doing pretty well right now. It’s kinda like Nickelback. How do they sell??? Who knows, but they do.

I think YAWN! Is just trying to stir things up, because if you have ever seen either one of the bands or all three of them you would know that this line up for the HO HO show is the best lineup in years. Get a life and quit bashing the POINT. You probably are a Nicjelback fan for saying that the point is boring and has no imagination.

i personally think that the ho ho shows are usually the best shows every year personally
2007
ho ho show 1:rob zombie
ho ho show 2:coheed and cambria, silversun pickups, the almost, and the sick puppies
2008
ho ho show 1:disturbed
ho ho show 2: scott weiland eagles of death metal and the cold war kids
ho ho show 3: saliva, hollywood undead, and saving abel
in my opinion those lineupss are very good and aare pretty diverse
