I have never ever ever never ever never ever understood the fascination with Bruce Springsteen. I don’t think his music is terrible, just don’t think it’s anything special….can someone please explain what the fascination is all about?

You have to actually see him in concert…one of the best live performers ever.

Philbert - you won’t ever get it, just stop trying.

wonder who will do the horn parts? They are essential to “Meeting”, especially…can’t beat the late, great Michael Brecker…

I’m going be at the concert and it is neat that the Boss is going to to the whole Born To Run lp,but the Born In The USA lp is the album I best know the Bosses music by.The first 2 cd’s I brought back in the mid-80’s was Born In The USA and and Centerfield by John Fogerty.PS-Is any of the American Idol stars going be the opening act?

My boyfriend is at the concert and he keeps calling me to tell me how long it’s taking. He says its an amazing show and he’s really putting on a good one but it is too long.

Thanks for the explanation Backteets, you really put me in my place…I actually did see him at the Fox and he was more into himself then anything. Honestly there are so many incredible musicians and singers and I just don’t get the obsession with the “Boss”…oh yeah I never will…just thought someone might be able to help explain.

If you saw him, and you didn’t feel the connection, then you’re not going to get it. It’s quite simple, really. So stop trying to figure it out and go see the performers who move you.
