I Am Music workshop unfolding today at Sheraton
Hip hop-themed I Am Music Workshop takes place today at the Sheraton Hotel and Suites, running from noon-8 p.m. with panel discussions, showcase performances, and more.
Here’s the schedule:
Noon-1 p.m., Meet the Press, artist interviews
1 p.m.-2 p.m., Video/Photography
2 p.m.-6:30 p.m., Performances
2 p.m.-3 p.m., Booking/Promotions
3 p.m.-4 p.m., Image Consulting and Styling/Public Relations
4 p.m.-5 p.m., Online Marketing/CD Duplication
5 p.m.-6 p.m., Studio/Engineering (mixing and mastering)
6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m., Panel Discussion
Topics on the panel discussion are record deals and distribution, management, marketing and promotions, music attorneys, music production, and DJs and radio.

Workshop registration is $75 per person.
The after party is 10 tonight at Spruill’s. Women get in free until 11 p.m., and the party will be broadcast on 100.3 the Beat.

but the finest place for such in the mid west in on Market Street
between 14th and 15th and you can have multiple events at the same time
