Jay Farrar, Ben Gibbard joint CD streaming for free

NPR Music is streaming a trio of new CDs before their actual release date, including “One Fast Move Or I’m Gone: Kerouac’s Big Sur” by Death Cab for Cutie’s Ben Gibbard and Son Volt’s Jay Farrar.
The Farrar/Gibbard project is based on the words of writer Jack Kerouac, and his 1962 novel “Big Sur.”
The CD will be released Oct. 20.
NPR is also streaming the Swell Season’s “Strict Joy” and Miquel Zenon’s “Esta Plena.”
