R&B singer Eric Roberson

Last Friday’s Eric Roberson concert at the Ambassador, a Suite Soul Spot anniversary event, was canceled.

Promoter Vanita Applebum took to Facebook to explain the situation in detail. Here are those exact words:

“Much to my disappointment, I am cancelling the Eric Roberson show.

Our second anniversary celebration with Eric Roberson was a two-city collaborative effort with a sister concert planner. Unfortunately, the other party did not deliver their part of the agreement. We were told Tuesday evening. Although both our team and ERRO’s team tried to quickly restructure and regroup, we just didn’t have enough time to make it happen.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. If you bought your tickets online in the last 12 hours, your transactions have not been and will not be processed. If you bought your tickets online before then, we are reversing the charges back to your credit cards. This may take up to 3 business days. The cancellation was announced on Friday.
