Concert update: George Strait tickets on sale Dec. 4

As previously tipped on the Blender, George Strait, Reba McEntire, and Lee Ann Womack will perform Feb. 18, 2010, at Scottrade Center. The venue confirmed the show this morning.
Tickets are $79.50-$89.50, on sale Dec. 4 at Ticketmaster outlets, www.ticketmaster.com, 800-745-3000, and at the venue.

HOLY CRAP! $80 for the cheapest tickets. I remember when George had an all day festival event at the dome and it was only like $35. I know George and Reba are country royalty, but I’m just a poor country boy…
I know I’m showing my age, but I remember the day when seeing George Strait was included in the price of your admission to 6 Flags over Mid America! I’ve been a fan since before the world knew who George Strait was, but I’m not sure I’ll pay that much for a ticket! Even if he is paired up with Reba, that’s a lot of cash for a cheap seat!
My Gosh!!When THE BOSS was here in October his cheap seats was only $30.I’m just a poor old city boy!!!
