Nelly is a poster boy for the Black race’s spiral in to the gutter. I remember growing up the Black elders espousing morals and you would see the father as part of the family. Now it’s trendy and hip to live off the White population and spit out kids with no family unit whatsoever. Blacks now are so addicted to using Whites as a crutch for their lack of rational behavior that it’s hard to imagine that they’ll have be able to become racially “clean and sober” and take responsibility for their own lives. Nelly and his ilk are gutter trash and have become the Black race’s cultural icons, replacing a sense of self-worth with the victimized “Slave Mentality”.

And I’m a young black man that was born and raised in north St. Louis. I’m still there today, my family there! We as black got to stop worrying about what other races think, and WAKE UP! We got a problem in our culture! The black on black violence, the destruction of our family’s with drugs, not only the users, but the dealers as well (JAIL)! It seem like we have become immune to violence and the destruction of ourselves. Like I said I don’t agree with Nelly being the poster boy, I do think it’s a whole lot of music out that contribute to the destruction of our community. You can make that excuse that it’s just music, but the reality of this is, folks are believing that music, and trying to live that life style by any means. Like I said, I’m in the streets, and I also do hip hop (Hope Hop)! We must change the tone and mentality in our community. I speak on things like this all the time on my faceboook! I spoke on the no snitch code, which I explained folks got it all wrong, but that is a code that’s helping destroy our community. I also spoke on how we have more want to be d boys and thugs in our community, then we do fathers and father figures. I can go on about this for days, because I have so much to say about this topic, and I’m also doing things to try and help change the direction of my culture. But in the end WE as a race have to make the change in OUR culture happen.

Most intelligent Blacks aren’t in the Clubs or at an event posing for a picture to be published in the SLA or on the web.
