Other papers’ Obama headlines
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Here’s a link to the Newseum’s display of newspaper front pages from across the county.
Almost all tried to capture the historic nature in a few simple words:
“In Our Lifetime.”
“A Nation Changed.”
“Change has come.”
“Obama Wins”
“OBAMA”
“Obama’s Nation”
“Historic Victory”
“Mr. President”
The Huntsville Times of Alabama had a “YES, HE DID!” headline like today’s Post-Dispatch, but we lacked the exclamation point.

Steve Parker is the deputy managing editor for news, and oversees the Post-Dispatch's front page. STLtoday's online news editors are on his newsroom team. Parker has been at the paper since September 1980.
