People need to get over themselves. The man was a legend no matter what people say he did…He was acquitted, leave it alone and let the man rest in peace.

Michael is finally resting.

And may God keep him from now until forever eternally. He had many of our hearts and many who truly believed in himu as a decent and good human being. One day everything will be exposed and brought into the light for all to see and I believe at that time he will finally be justified by the Justifier God Himself. I thank God for Michael who brought to so many in this world much joy through that miraculous gift of his that will live on until the end of this age. I have loved Michael Jackson like so many others from the time when he first appeared on the scene of the entertainment world.

When I was a little bitty child about seven or eight, he was the guy that I thought I was going to marry, I imagined. (lol).

Yes, he deserved to be displayed exactly where he was located, front page display.

Tiffany, I’ll agree the man was a legend and will be seen that way. His musical legacy is great and will be viewed that way. Unfortunately his personal legacy was not so great. Just because OJ and Michael have more money than God and can hire the best sleaze bag defense lawyers money can buy to get them acquited on technicalities does not mean they are/were truly inncocent.

I don’t think the coverage of Jackson’s death was overdone. But I have to tell you, I have seen some outrageous reactions to the news of his death. I was in a grocery store yesterday evening when I overhead the checker and the man in line in front of me discussing Jackson’s death. At one point, the checker pumped her fist as if to celebrate. Disgusting! I was not a Michael Jackson fan, but I wanted to ask the checker what he ever did to her that would make her so happy to learn he had died. Some of the jokes I’m hearing today are pretty distateful. Michael Jackson was a screwy character and he was ACCUSED of some bad things. But he was not the villain some people want to make of him.

No matter what he was personally, which was a flawed human being with demons (since WE are all perfect!), he was a creative genius in the music and entertainment world. The man may now rest in peace.

The newspaper headlines about Michael Jackson’s death says volumes about what we think is worthwhile news now. It’s nearly incomprehensible to think, that in my lifetime, I would live to see every major local and national news media cover the death of an aging pedophile, former pop celebrity, as if he was a head of state.

Real news doesn’t matter anymore. What Lenny Bruce once said of Las Vegas, can now be said of our sorry U.S. news now — it’s nothing but t. & a.

I see front page coverage, I see big bold font. The PD did NOT short Michael Jackson. He was a huge pop star, and certainly controversial. It is definately newsworthy that he died. The PD coverage appears reasonable. Now unlike printed media, the television feeding frenzy/non-stop-coverage….THAT’S OVERKILL!

What I find ironic, the media was always dwelling on his faults when he was alive, now he has passed, they make him a hero, where was that when he was alive? He seemed to be talented, He did a great job in his profession, But all I heard was molester of boys

I found it very disrespectful that you printed Michael Jackson’s obit on the front page and I didn’t find Farrah Fawcett’s obit until I got to the everyday obit page. Michael Jackson admitted on national TV that he had young boy’s sharing his bed. He was a pedophile. And now this foolish nation celebrates his life? News of Farrah Fawcett passing is sadly pushed aside in favor of the almighty dollar and selling your paper. Sometimes the news media needs to do the right thing. Please don’t start this nonsense. I like many have shared many tears for Farrah Fawcett and her ordeal not being ready to die even until the end when it was so plain that her disease was going to overcome her. Her son, Redmond I am truly concerned about and have said many prayers for him and don’t ever want to hear that drugs have over taken him as they have Michael Jackson and Anna Nicole Smith and so many others famous people.

It is so unfortunate that Fawcett and Jackson passed away on the very the same day but, to sit there and make such a ridiculous comparison is ludicrous. It has to be coming from some sort of personal loathing of the person that is causing you to not see the truth of Michael Jackson’s fame, nor his and musical and dance gifts/talents

His life with all the fame has always been so sad and miserable. I just hope there will be one-day peace for him and that he will be found completely innocent of everything by the one who really knows, God, because to be honest, neither you nor I know for certain. I just do not believe that he molested any children. I see those things that many are seeing as similar conduct to a predator, but I see his behavior as much different even though many appear similar but they truly are not.

Thousands of fans are celebrating the late Michael J. Jackson’s demise. Some have not come to realize that he is gone. Some hope that this is a hoax since michael has so many exciting and also trouble down falls. What people remember about him is his entertainment skills. He had that gift that draws many and still to date, his death is doing the same. From what we all have heard, Michael was not happy, but a longly man, man in the mirror looking at himeself. He said he never seen inside of a bank where he put his money; never played as kid, never enjoyed the things younger children did. Yet, his life is somewhat of a story within itself. Michael J. Jackson is gone like so many that has gone before him. His life will be remembered and his fans will celebrate his life for years to come….until the next person come out and be just as good or even the same measure. His family and all of his fans have my deepest condolences. Now, Michael can go home and see all of the things he have not seen and enjoy what he has not. God Speed Michael on your journey.

What is sad is that this side-show circus freak gets front page attention and this fella gets nary a mention.
