LA Times corrects TV listing mixing up “Jackass” show, Olbermann
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
We generally don’t like to laugh at other’s mistakes — we sure make enough embarrassing errors of our own — but a reader points out a correction in the Los Angeles Times that truly is one for the ages:
For the record
August 21, 2009
TV listings: The Prime-Time TV grid in Thursday’s Calendar section mistakenly listed MTV’s “Jackass” show on the MSNBC cable schedule at 7 and 10 p.m. where instead MSNBC’s “Countdown With Keith Olbermann” should have been listed.

Steve Parker is the deputy managing editor for news, and oversees the Post-Dispatch's front page. STLtoday's online news editors are on his newsroom team. Parker has been at the paper since September 1980.
Seems like an honest mistake.
I dont think it was a mistake. Olberman IS a Jackass.
What mistake?
Dr D- thanks for your usual sense of humor.
Mr. Think, Mr. Bellum, et al,
These responses are as predictable as a national downturn with Republicans in charge.
Yours in true humor,
JPinSTL
Jpin,
The only things that are in a downturn is the viewership of Olbermann and MSNBC and the popularity of Obama and the Dem. party.
Centrist,
–Thank Steve. He did all the “heavy” lifting.
Mr. SCA,
Clearly your grammar is included in the downturn. “The only things that are in a downturn is (sic) the viewership of Olbermann and MSNBC and the popularity of Obama and the Dem. party.”
Cute, really, you’re feeble attempts.
YHS,
JPinSTL
Mr. STL,
You failed yourself.
Uber-fail,
