Suspicion follows AT&T’s offer of ‘free’ Xbox 360 treats

The company that promises “your world, delivered” now is promising even more if you please just sign up for its broadband service.
AT&T has introduced a promotion that includes Xbox 360 lures, such as free Xbox games, a 12-month subscription to the Xbox Live multiplayer service, plus other gaming related goodies.
Free broadband hardware and cash back on broadband service also figure into the deal, but AT&T hasn’t posted many details — including how exactly anyone gets the “free” games and Xbox Live service. Game Guy tried calling AT&T for more information but wound up with someone who wasn’t aware of the online offer.
The company has promised to reply with more details via e-mail.
