A very special Madden pack for PSP coming this summer
Fans of the “Madden NFL” franchise knew the game’s 20th anniversary this year wouldn’t pass unrecognized in some special way.
The question was, how would “Madden” mavens celebrate?
Well, now we know. Game maker Electronic Arts and hardware specialist Sony apparently have teamed to create the Madden NFL 09 PSP Entertainment Pack. Costing $199.99, the pack is due out on or about Aug. 12, according to a blog post by John Koller, a director of marketing for PlayStation.
Besides the game, the pack features a metallic blue PlayStation Portable system and includes a DVD of great players and their amazing performances called “NFL: In Just One Play,” a voucher for free music downloads from the PlayStation Store and a 1-gigabyte Memory Stick Pro Duo card.
And for a few bucks extra, maybe John Madden himself (BAM!) will come to your house and perform the play-by-play (BOOM!) in person.
