Xbox 360: Quiet as a leaf blower

Game Guy was just about to wax long and windy about his latest complaint with Microsoft’s Xbox 360 when Matt Peckham beat him to it.
On Friday, Peckham published a piece in PC World about the gawd-awful noise Xbox makes when it’s not flashing a red ring. He compares the racket to a smog-belching city bus, a leaf blower, an exceptionally cranky vacuum cleaner … and that’s being nice.
So, instead of making his own leaf-blower sounds, Game Guy will let Peckham do it. Take a look at his rant and see if your analogies match up.
I can’t hear a peep over my surround sound ! If you are going the ” I gotta sneak in some porn while my wife is in the room next to me ” route, then I guess the 360 would give you away, but if you play games the way they are meant then you shouldn’t hear the 360 over explosions and firefights all around you.
