“Spore” causing an uproar
David Sheets
St. Louis Post-Dispatch

A lot of folks have come down hard on “Spore” as a game, saying it isn’t the wonder-title some had hoped. But Forbes magazine describes “Spore” as a rich target for piracy.

Apparently, the download restrictions installed by distributor Electronic Arts haven’t worked, making illegal downloads of the game very easy to obtain. EA wanted to limit “Spore” installation to just three computers. Gamers are railing against the restriction. (Then again, PC games are among the easiest to pirate.)

Take a look at the Forbes piece, then visit Amazon.com, where the anti-DRM crowd is in strong voice against the game. (And Amazon is not responding kindly.)
