‘Wii Sports’ tournament at Blockbuster on Saturday

A friendly reminder to you all that there’s a family Wii tournament going on Saturday, Sept. 6, starting at 1 p.m. and going to 5 p.m. at the Blockbuster movie rental store at 4177 Lindell Boulevard.
The four-hour tournament is part of a larger family gaming promotion by Blockbuster going on in several cities and follows an Olympic theme — winners will receive gold medals presented on an Olympic-style podium. Events are “Wii Sports” versions of baseball, bowling, boxing, golf and tennis.
Whole families of two to six members are invited participate, and entry is free. But registration is first-come, first-served, so get in line early.
