Electronics recycling event going on at Best Buy
David Sheets
St. Louis Post-Dispatch

Remember folks, you can dispose of old and broken electronics today and Saturday at the Best Buy in South County. The store is sponsoring a free recycling drive that lasts from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today, and again on Saturday.

Just drive up and toss your discards in the Dumpsters outside the main entrance. The store will post employees outside to help your aim. Best Buy says the first 100 people to show up receive $5 gift certificates to use at the store.

Computers, computer peripherals, rechargeable batteries and gadgets of all kinds will be accepted, without charge. But don’t show up with household appliances, smoke detectors or regular alkaline batteries; you’ll have to dispose of those elsewhere.

The drive is going on at 7017 South Lindbergh Boulevard. Call 314-487-4999 for more details.
