Minor in-game bug irritates some ‘LittleBigPlanet’ players

The puzzle platform “LittleBigPlanet” appears to have a glitch a few gamers think is big, not little.

They’re upset that after building a “wheel of doom” and then throwing their “Sackboy” character into it, the game crashes, costing players not just the Sackboy, but also all they have constructed to that point. (You can see video of this glitch over at GameTrailers.com, where they’re calling it by the catchy name of “death glitch.”)

Of course, the name “wheel of doom” ought to be a dead giveaway — so to speak — to everyone that trouble results from messing with such a device. Game Guy guesses though that throwing anything into the mechanism as small as Sackboy probably shouldn’t be a game breaker.

So far, the glitch does not appear to portend other trouble, and might even be fun to play around with a few times.

Nonetheless, let Game Guy know if your Sackboy has been frayed by this or any other problems lately — the better to see whether “LittleBigPlanet” needs a fix or not.
