Snoopy’s mortal enemy now parks his famous red plane at the PlayStation Store.

The oldie-but-goody arcade game “Red Baron” takes wing there starting today, according to an announcement at PlayStation.blog.

“Red Baron,” produced by Atari, first debuted as a one-player shooter back in 1980 and is loosely based on the exploits of German air ace Manfred von Richthofen, the most prolific pilot during World War I, famous for flying a blood-red Fokker tri-wing during battle.

This latest version of the game allows up to eight players, has three different battle modes and offers 20 different customizable planes to fly.

Not sure yet though whether Snoopy’s dog house is among them. However, a free demonstration version is available at the store, so you can check for yourself.
