Got $2,500? Buy some Xbox shoes
St. Louis Post-Dispatch
Fashion trumps logic with the new Xbox 360 shoes by Nike, a pair of green-and-black leather high-tops that Game Guy discovered over at eBay and later saw over at IGN.
The shoes sport patent-leather backs, a two-tone Nike swoosh, and the button-control layout of an Xbox controller on the bottom of the soles. Better still, there are strobe lights in the Xbox logos on each heel.
But the real knockout punch is the price tag: a whopping $2,500 — better than six Xbox 360 Elite consoles, but you can’t plug the shoes into any of them.
Too much for themed shoes? Maybe. One thing is for sure: the shoes probably will last longer than all six consoles.

Wow that is a steep price for a pair of shoes. For that kind of money I’d expect them to not only have bluetooth xbox controllers in the toes but they would have to at least have the ability to take flight for short periods of time too.
After all, if you can play xbox with your toes you should be allowed to fly by default.
They are VERY cool looking though and kudos to the artist who created them.
It would take an idoit to first pay that much money for shoes, and second to pay that much to advertise for a company.
I saw them and was not impressed, a tennis shoe is just a tennis shoe and if someone has that much money to blow then their economy status must not be hurting in this recession.
Its funny how stupid people are and avertise for companies, pay for the product and avdertise for the company, hmm, seems like the company has the win-win,,,lol
