‘NCAA Football 10′ demo now available
It’s not out until July 14, but Electronic Arts’ “NCAA Football 10″ became available in part through a game demo now appearing on Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Network.
Among the demo’s features: CPU assist on defensive plays; new moves on the D-line; six defensive and five offensive game planning options; position player locks that, when activated, bring the camera angle closer to the action; set-up plays; and, according to EA, about 1,000 new animations for handoffs, tackles, run blocks, and players slipping on wet fields.
But the big attraction, a “TeamBuilder” feature announced earlier this month, won’t be part of the game plan. Prospective buyers of “NCAA Football 10″ must wait until the game’s full release date to access the teams they’ve created and stashed at teambuilder.easports.com. An estimated 80,000 fan-created clubs currently are in the inventory, EA says.
