Reminder: National Pokemon championships visit St. Louis this weekend

Game Guy has mentioned this before, but it bears repeating: The Pokemon Video Game National Championships will take place in St. Louis this weekend, with a big event planned for the America’s Center downtown.
Pokemon lovers of all ages are invited to register at the Center between 8:30 a.m. and 12: 30 p.m. Saturday. Winners earn the right to participate in the world championship at San Diego in August.
So, arise early Saturday to register. Everyone — I repeat, EVERYONE — is welcome to compete. And remember to bring water and whatever else you need to stay cool; weather forecasters predict a very hot day for standing in line.
