‘Battlefield 1943′ contest won by Xbox 360

Wow! That was fast.
Not even a week after Electronic Arts launched a “Battlefield 1943″ console-vs.console contest to open a new playable map titled Coral Sea, Xbox 360 fans came through, scoring the 43 million kills necessary for the prize.
Player jkaspi from England made the final score, opening up the map for all Xbox 360 users. He wins a pair of Battlefield sneakers for his trouble, among other swag.
The map, No. 4 in the multiplayer-only game, is an air-superiority contest. EA plans to launch a PC version of the game with Coral Sea included next month.
Reportedly, PS3 players remain about 15 million kills from success. C’mon guys; get to work!
