GameStop sponsoring “Fight Night Round 4″ tournament
Put up yer dukes — GameStop is challenging you to a fight.
The video game retail chain announced today it plans to have a “Fight Night Round 4″ in-store boxing tournament starting this weekend at 2,100 of its locations around the country.
Contestants will square off in four rounds of competition played solely on Xbox 360, with the platform’s prime pugilists qualifying for the fourth and final showdown in Las Vegas and the chance to win $5,000 in prize money.
Oh, and last fighter standing will receive a championship belt, too.
The bell rings for the first round of action Saturday at 2 p.m. Registration takes place at the stores, but show up early, as the tournament will be limited to 32 people competing at each store. Check the list of participating stores for the GameStop location nearest you.
