Candystand.com teams up with Facebook
Candystand.com and Facebook have become gaming partners. Now, it’s possible for friends on one site to meet and play games at another.
The free-to-play game and entertainment provider has added Facebook Connect, a sign-on service allowing Facebook users to enter affiliated websites and share details of their activities at those sites with members of Facebook.
This arrangement opens up Candystand.com’s inventory of more than 150 online games to Facebook’s 250 million members and lets them share stories of their experiences on Facebook’s walls.
Later, the partnership may lead to the creation of branded social networking games, said Scott Tannen, president of Funtank LLC, the parent of Candystand.com, in a news release.
Candystand.com estimates it has 11 million user visits per month.
