Did Sarah Palin spell her name wrong on autographed Xbox?
If you were searching beneath the sofa cushions for the change to buy a $1.1 million Sarah Palin-signed Xbox 360 on eBay, put the coins in a bank or something. The listing, No. 300335581705, was pulled from the site for reasons not given.
We can only speculate now where it went, as well as why it showed up in the first place. The Xbox apparently was signed by Palin during a picnic she sponsored a couple of days before her resignation from the governorship of Alaska, and the guy who got it probably figured he’d make a fast fortune off her maybe-not-so-fleeting fame.
Palin, the Republican vice presidential contender last year, is thought to be a candidate for the top job in 2012 — a probably-candidacy likely to give any gewgaw she signs a little bit of artificial value.
A single bid matching the asking price appeared for the signed console, but it was dismissed as a joke because it didn’t come from 1) Sen. John McCain, 2) Bill Gates, 3) Warren Buffett, or 4) Todd Palin.
However, Game Guy thinks he knows why the bid was yanked. If you look closely at the signature, former Gov. Palin’s first name appears to lack the final “h.” Last he heard, she spelled her first name “Sarah,” not “Sara.” Even Alaska’s official website spells it with an “h.”
And hey, you can’t ask for a cool $1.1 million for a signed Xbox if the signee can’t spell her name correctly.

Well she signs babies, why not xboxes?
What a completely lame article! I’m not SaraH Palin fan, but what a pathetic attempt to poke fun at her intelligence. Do you know how many people sign their names in a manner that you can’t make out all the letters? I guess doctors with 10 years of higher education are all complete idiots, cause I can never make out the letters of their signature.
H*ll if Plain is a poor speller, that makes her a virtual shoo-in for a job at the Post when she wants to unretire.
The obsession of the left with Palin is truly pathologic. Out of everything happening here and elsewhere another lefty at the PD thinks he earns brownie points by putting up a non-story about how her autograph may be, ah, er, yes we’ll say misspelled, even though I think everyone knows how to spell her name, including her. The editor’s autograph, I will bet my house, is not as legible as hers. But no matter, it’s PALIN you see, and she’s not a liberal…..
Bitter, hypersensitive, intransigent conservatives are so amusing!
I’m glad she’s not a liberal, she is an embarassment.
Gee, here is a link to Barry Sotero’s (oops, I mean Barack Hussein Obama’s) signature:

I guess he doesn’t know how to spell his name, either.
What a dumb-a$$ed article by some hack at the P-D looking to disrespect Sarah Palin once again. And the headline writer really shows his or her colors. Really running scared of conservative ideas, aren’t they?
Oh Saint Sarah, how great you are! I bow down before you!
Is this newsworthy? The Post Disgrace has done it again. I give it 5 more years before this rag is gone for good.
I’m not a Sarah Palin fan but is it possible the Xbox is a fake? It would be more likely someone else trying to fake her signature would spell her name wrong.
