Sarah Palin-signed Xbox listed for $1.1 million on eBay
The governor’s gone but her legacy lingers — and part of it is up for sale to the highest bidder.
An Xbox 360 signed by former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin last month has an asking price of $1.1 million this week on the auction site eBay.
The woman who was America’s first defense against Russian invasion put her John Hancock on the console during a picnic held in Palin’s hometown of Wasilla, Alaska, two days before resigning from office. Last year, Palin was the Republican nominee for vice president; now she’s considered a potential contender for the White House in 2012.
The 60-gigabyte system is said to be in new condition, but so far not even that has attracted much interest: As of Wednesday, nobody had posted a bid, and the bidding is scheduled to end Monday afternoon.
Maybe the $75 shipping cost is what’s scaring everyone off.
Regardless, Game Guy wishes the eventual winning bidder all the best and hopes the box lasts at least as long as Palin did in the statehouse.

I am no longer surprised or shocked by the stupidity of the American public.
Reporter Sheets aka Game Guy failed to mention what else I did to this X-box 360 console that makes it so pricey, ya betcha!
saintlooney, the stupid one is the idiot that pays 1.1million dollars. If no one bids on something so stupid then they will realize that Palin is not all that.
If the console is like it’s former owner, will it quit working 2/3 of the way through the game?
Maybe that’s what really happened: She got the Red Ring of death politically….
Seems appropriate.
What?! That’s totally absurd! And the individual that would have the guts to purchase it is certainly out of his mind or rather completely insane. And if ever I’m filthy rich and has a hardcore gamer son that would like to get that xbox that’s worth a million bucks, I’ll definitely cut him off without a penny!
