Missouri Association for Career and Technical Education applauds Wentzville teacher
A Wentzville educator is the Missouri Association for Career and Technical Education teacher of the year.
Charlotte Gray, a family and consumer sciences teacher at Holt High School, continually encourages students to build on their strengths and be willing to learn from their mistakes, district officials say.
Her students continually practice “work skills” such as communication, managing resources, negotiation and evaluating the final outcome.
She also stresses the importance of community service.
Gray has taught courses at both the high school and middle school level, including foods, child development, clothing and fashion, housing and interior design and a comprehensive family and consumer sciences course.
According to the association’s website, she is a 1986 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia. She earned a master’s degree in 1991 from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.

She is well deserving of this award. We as educators are very proud of Charlotte and her accomplishments. The students and school district are very fortunate to have her presence. I am honored to work with her and for her. Thank You Charlotte for what you do every day for children! Cheryl
