Ashley Marsters: “Good student, good kid”

James Marsters called in late Tuesday night, clearly beside himself with grief, but wanting to share what he could about his daughter, Ashley, the Mehlville High sophomore who collapsed in art class and died Tuesday morning.

Our prayers to the family - Ashley and my son were close friends before we moved. She will be very missed.
My son graduated from Mehlville last year. He too has congenital heart defects and is having valve replacement in two weeks. I know what the family is going through and my thoughts and prayers are with you.
Ashley will be missed very much in Band. My child was in the Mehlville High School Band with her. It is just so sad what happened. She was so young. My thoughts and prayers are with the family right now.
