Latest international math tests show Singapore students still ahead

Here’s an Education Week story about the latest international study that compare U.S. students with their counterparts across the globe. American kids are making gains in math, but students in Asian countries such as Singapore still are far ahead.
The success of Singapore students in these studies is one of the reasons many schools, such as Wentzville, have started Singapore math programs. But some are not convinced. Here’s the reaction to Wentzville’s program on today’s letters to the editor page.
