The Columbia Daily Tribune is reporting that Wentzville Superintendent Terry Adams was in the running to head up schools there. You can read the story here, however, it’s not clear whether Adams is a finalist for the superintendent position.

Adams did not return phone messages left this morning. A district spokesman said Adams could not comment, and referred questions to the Columbia School District.

Columbia is a larger district, with about 16,600 students, compared to about 11,600 this year in Wentzville, where the student population is still growing, just not as quickly as it once was.
