If not Hillary, who?
Above (Left to right): Sarah Steelman, Lisa Madigan and Claire McCaskill.
The New York Times Week in Review has an interesting look at what our first female president (if not Hillary Clinton) would like like. Read it here.
Women mentioned include Missouri’s Democratic Senator Claire McCaskill and Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan, plus the governors of Arizona, Kansas and Alaska. There’s a surprise mention of Missouri gubernatorial candidate Sarah Steelman. Even a presidential daughter is given consideration.
NY Times reporter Kate Zernike looks at polling data and statistics of women in elective office to takes the pulse of the nation, mixing generational politics with gender politics.
It’s a good read. What do you think?

Having Lisa Madigan on this list is a joke.
She is only where she is now because her father, the powerful speaker of the house in Illinois, moved everybody out of the way to get her there.
She keeps a low profile, lacks courage, and hides behind her daddy.
Not the makings of a good president, or even a presidential candidate.
Better keep on looking. Nobody shown here is at all qualified.
