Thursday editorial: Two (many) Prop C’s

The St. Louis County Charter is like a local constitution, detailing county government’s civil service and budget systems and the duties and responsibilities of various public officials.

The charter also says that every 10 years, county residents must vote on this question: “Shall there be a Charter Commission to revise or amend the Charter?”

This year marks one of those decennial intervals, and the question will appear on the ballot as St. Louis County Proposition C.

There is no good reason to convene the county equivalent of a constitutional convention, and it would be a waste of money to do so. On Tuesday, county voters should say No to St. Louis County Proposition C.

At the same time, voters should not confuse the county measure with a state proposition carrying the same letter. It would boost the use of renewable energy in the state over time. We believe voters should vote Yes on the Missouri state Proposition C.

Geez! Kevin and Eddie, I wrote you 2 weeks ago about STLcty prop C advice and of course I was ignored. I voted 2 weeks ago. Absentee started 9/23.
I voted yes on Stlcty prop C and no on Mo prop C because I knew you would vote yes on something that will surely raise our rates.

I really wanted to start a website that reported all the news not found in the PD, but there was so much I realized that I couldn’t keep up. Here is a StLouis website that does just that but the fascists at the PD won’t link to it, maybe because the fascists in the Obama admin would shut down the PD. http://www.gatewaypundit.blogspot.com
