It is very reassuring to know that I will be voting against the Post-Dispatch endorsements in nearly every race except Proposition A. Since both Republicans and Democrats put their personal and partisan political interests above the best interests of the nation, I will be voting Libertarian in most races where that option exists. At more local levels I will disregard party affiliation altogether in selecting the candidate I feel is most suited for office.

The PD’s unfailing support of collectivism and government excess along with your antipathy for free commerce and individual liberty make your endorsements a spotlight on the goals of the extreme left. Your paper would be right at home in San Francisco or Stockholm. The “progressive” culture of government worship, enhanced by inept and corrupt Republicans, has ensured your endorsements will succeed in most cases.

The political pendulum’s resulting huge swing to the left will prove the adage “be careful what you wish for.” Selling liberty in exchange for government largess will eventually prove to be a civil disaster and mathematical failure. Government dominance is not what made the USA great. Check back in a decade.

Yes to C: Democrat stance
Yes to M: Democrat stance
Yes to 1: Democrat stance
No to Amed 1: Democrat stance
Yes to b: Democrat stance

Yep, Post Dispatch really is an objective newspaper.

I’m printing out multiple copies and locating them in a convenient location in my bathroom. My animals have stopped using the PD to deposit their waste upon as they think it’s beneath them. The PD should seriously consider stop publishing to save some trees.

No big surprise that the vast majority of the endorsements are Democraps. 99%?? Anyone want to figure up the percentage. The Socialist Liberal Pile of Dog**** doesn’t even care to pretend to be non biased anymore. I guess they received their orders from the Socialists foreigners who own the paper to push ahead at all cost and elect all liberals.

Wow, I hate to disagree with somebody who is knocking the post, but …

“Lee was founded in 1890 in Ottumwa, Iowa, by A.W. Lee.” They are now located in Davenport, Iowa.

I was reading some old PD editorials from the 2006 election and your words of advice then at the end were, “Be careful what you wish for!”

Dear Show Me State-

Missouri’s economics has went through a lot of changes in the last few years and the upcoming election will greatly effect it’s economic future. The American auto mobile industry is facing lots of uncertainties, resulting in good paying union jobs in your community being exchanged for poor wages and compromised benefits. “The global economy” has a record of taking good paying blue collar jobs overseas and leaving towns jobless. Missouri felt the merger between St. Louis based Purina and Switzerland Nestle and many jobs have been fazed out with that merger. Last summer Inbev bought a chunk of St. Louis and in the future many jobs could be effected not to mention other funds if Inbev got a better lease in Mexico, India, etc.

Americans have been mislead and manipulated by our government. Campaigns have threaten us with same sex marriages, future terrorist attacks, etc. and the outcome has cost America thousands of good paying jobs, unions have been beaten down, middle class is almost extinct. It is my hope that propaganda and/or other campaign rhetoric does not override the reality of the state of our economy and history of John Mc Cain’s voting record on labor and trade issues.

Fairness is not Socialism. The finest and most productive times of America where when the labor unions where strong and the working class thrived.

I want to see America prosper again! I want Missouri to prosper again! A vote for Obama is a vote for the working class!!!

Please Missouri, America’s economic fate is in your hands!

Sincerely,

RE: JUDGE DALE HOOD, ST. LOUIS COUNTY.

I certainly wish there was a better way to get the word out to the people concerning judges who should not be retained.

Hopefully the review of Judge Dale Hood, ST. LOUIS COUNTY will not go unnoticed by the citizens of St. Louis County and that it cost him his seat on the bench. This is one bad, bad, rotten man and he should not be retained.
