In a related item to two recent posts I’ve written (here and here), Comedy Central’s Jon Stewart (a William and Mary alum, by the way) pokes fun at the media coverage of Obama’s trip:

Truly hilarious. And hilariously, true.

Nick, you are easily entertained. That was about the non-entertaining thing that I have ever seen. It wasn’t even funny. It was a FLOP.

I thought it was pretty funny. I guess some people don’t have much sense of humor.

Ouch! The blade runs swift, straight and true…

No word if Israel and the Palestinians had a swift cease-fire, if my world history holds true, the last time there was peace in the Holy Land was when Jesus walked the earth.

Let the lovefest continue!

Obama had planned a stop-over in Rome —
but passed when he was unable to obtain permission to give
a non-campaign speech from a balcony at St. Peter’s Square.

I see he learned the lesson of civilians wearing battle gear-they look stupid. Funny stuff.

Presumptive GOP nominee John McCain had this to say about the media coverage of Obama’s Middle East trip;

“Whine, whine….WHINE!!! whine…..”

Some say McCain’s comments only go to prove his former campaign co-chair Phil Gramm’s contention that; “Americans are just a bunch of whiners!”

And so it goes….
