Like the raging river, it’s back: The Open Thread

The telecom immunity bill surfaces again. Sens. Russ Feingold, D-Wis., and Christopher Dodd, D-Conn., vow to filibuster. That’s a promise we’ve heard before. Read it here, via Huffington Post.

And she returns like royalty. Politico reports on HRC’s return to the Senate.

Meanwhile, Bill Clinton offers a rather subdued endorsement of Obama.

CBS wonders about Ron Paul voters.

McCain is too old. It is a scientific fact that the brain rapidly declined with old age. McCain did not start out bright(bottom 1% of naval academy). Where is he now, and should he have the red button?

The Naval Academy is the most sought-after college in America. Many thousands apply each year. Few qualify for entrance, and far fewer graduate. Annapolis graduates are regarded as “the best of the best” regardless of class standing.

I can’t refute your conclusion that brains decline with age. The real question is; Would you choose a brain ravaged McCain over Obama’s 20 years of brainsickness in support of Reverend Jeremiah Wright’s “Hate Whitey” harangues?

McCain is just a youngster (compared to me at least), and Cindy will keep him young.

Carramba! Some First Lady, no?
